Doug Marconnet Bio

Over the past three decades, Mr. Marconnet has advised on well over 150 successful merger and acquisition projects for clients ranging from public, private, private equity, and international businesses, with hands-on experience conducting acquisition searches, divestitures, company sales and recapitalizations. He has published numerous articles exploring key issues about buying and selling businesses and has also served on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Mr. Marconnet is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth, and prior to forming Bridgewood Advisors, was a Managing Director and Partner at Mertz Associates. Mr. Marconnet graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration from Carthage College and earned his MBA with distinction at Keller Graduate School of Management.
