Bio

Barrett Mears is a Vice President and joined Boxwood in May 2023. Prior to joining Boxwood, Barrett held roles at Altria Group, EY, and Cherry Bekaert where he provided accounting, assurance, and financial due diligence services. Barrett earned his B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech in 2010 and 2011, respectively. While at Virginia Tech, Barrett was an offensive lineman for the Hokie football team. Barrett is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Virginia. He currently resides in Richmond, VA.
