Edward Murray joined Boenning & Scattergood in November of 2004 and serves as Head of Boenning & Scattergood’s Public Finance Group. He has over 28 years of experience in municipal finance underwriting. Ed coordinates and assists clients through each aspect of the financing project from initial capital planning to bond closing totaling over $4 billion. Ed is responsible for proactively assisting government entities, school districts, water and sewer authorities, charter schools, and nonprofit organizations. He has specific expertise in structuring general obligation infrastructure bonds, special revenue bonds, appropriation-based bonds, and certain private placements. Ed formerly served on the Board of School Directors for the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District and the Chester County Intermediate Unit. During his time at Boenning & Scattergood, Ed has been engaged on more than 123 municipal offerings representing over $2.1 billion in par value for a variety of school districts and municipal issuers, including Bristol Township, Garnet Valley, Spring-Ford Area, Unionville Chadds-Ford, the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority, Borough of Lansdale, Newtown Township Sewer Authority, and the Galloway Charter School. Ed holds the FINRA Series 7, 50, 52, 53, and 63 licenses.
