James Rowland, Managing Director, Investment Banking, joined Bloom Burton in November 2012 and is responsible for raising equity and debt capital, advising issuers on capital markets strategy as well as mergers and acquisitions in both the public and private markets. James has transactional experience across several healthcare industry verticals, including biotechnology, healthcare services, life science tools and services, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. James also has notable experience in dual-listed public offerings in addition to other complex cross-border transactions. Prior to joining Bloom Burton, James held various positions at the TD Bank Group. James holds an M.Sc. in Medical Science with a Specialization in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto and an honours B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Queen’s University.
