Vaibhavi Thakkar holds a Masters in Commerce (Economics). But beyond academics, it was through sheer entrepreneurial instinct and perspicacity that she co-founded Blend with Ravi Gupta. Ms Thakkar has authored Blend’s global expansion by establishing offices in international financial hubs like Singapore, Dubai and Kenya. She has also been instrumental in lengthening Blend’s footprint across other geographies, especially Europe. For lenders, she is the face of the company, leveraging her acumen and experience to raise liquidity with banks. With academic specialization in Business Administration as well, Ms. Thakkar commands all of Blend’s operations and plays a pivotal role in strategy formulation, execution and designing of innovative financing structures. Her structuring and relationship skills have resulted in strong and long-term synergies with clients, institutions, lenders and other stakeholders across geographies. Extremely passionate about work, there is nevertheless more to Vaibhavi Thakkar than just business. Ambitious, confident, go-getting and a fitness freak, she astutely maintains a work-life balance. Bollywood and travel are her passions – which makes her an avid globe-trotter… for leisure and business. When she isn’t taking in touristic adventures, she is getting an adrenaline rush from decoding tough and challenging territories for the benefit of Blend.
