Bio

Doug Bolt is a Managing Director of BlackArch. He has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, including nearly 15 years advising on mergers and acquisitions in the middle market with a particular focus on the healthcare and life science sectors. He has advised on sellside, buyside and equity and debt capital raising during his investment banking career. Doug is head of BlackArch’s Life Science & Healthcare group. His sector-specific experience includes healthcare information technology, home health, medical devices, payor services, pharmacy and physician practice management. Prior to joining BlackArch, Doug was head of the Life Sciences and Healthcare practice for Deloitte Corporate Finance, the investment banking group of Deloitte. Previously in his career, Doug worked at McColl Partners, Edgeview Partners and Bank of America. While at Edgeview, he was colleagues with many of BlackArch’s senior bankers. Doug earned a bachelor of arts degree from Wake Forest University. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Doug lives in Charlotte with his wife, daughter and two sons.
