Charles Thompson is a Managing Director of BlackArch and serves on the firm’s executive leadership team. He is head of BlackArch’s Aerospace & Defense group and co-head of the Industrial Products group. He has more than 20 years of diverse professional experience in investment banking, public and private operating companies, and management consulting. Chuck was most recently chief financial officer of Frontier Services Group Ltd., a publicly traded business based in Hong Kong with operations in Africa, Europe, and mainland China. In that role, he oversaw all financial reporting to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Board of Directors, and shareholders, in addition to his handling of various investor, treasury, human resource, and information technology responsibilities. While with Frontier Services Group Ltd., Chuck also led the acquisition of businesses over two years in southern Europe, Kenya, D.R. Congo, and South Africa. Chuck was also a senior executive with Hawke Aerospace Holdings and a managing director with Edgeview Partners, having joined the firm in early 2002 shortly after its founding. Chuck began his career as an associate with InterData, Inc., a consulting firm focused on the automotive industry. He earned a bachelor of arts from Colby College and a master's degree in business administration from Columbia University.
