Stephen has advised privately-held companies on their strategic alternatives for over twenty-five years. He is a passionate advocate for his clients and the outcomes they are striving to achieve. Stephen is intellectually curious and relishes diving deep into his client engagements to garner a profound understanding of the business and the motivations and goals of the Entrepreneur Owner-Manager clients. Born and raised in Liverpool, England, Stephen began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. after graduating from Bristol University with a degree in Economics. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant he specialized in mergers & acquisition advisory. In 1995, Stephen joined Grant Thornton LLP, and in 1998 he came to Boston, MA, to help launch an M&A advisory group for them in the United States, ultimately leading this practice as their National Practice Leader before coming to Bigelow. Stephen is also a graduate of the General Management Program of the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at Wharton. Stephen is FINRA licensed Series 24, 28, 62, 63, 79, 99.
