MARK W. GROSS has more than 25 years’ experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Corporate Development, and Global Business Strategy domestically and internationally. Previously he has been Country CEO and Head of Origination & Client Coverage, Brazil at STANDARD CHARTERED BANK where he advised US, Brazilian and foreign multinationals in energy, mining, agribusiness, commodities, manufacturing, telecom and technology. He was also President of StanChart’s regulated Brazilian bank . Previously, he led AMERICAN EXPRESS BANK INTERNATIONAL in the Southern Cone. In addition to Brazil, Mr. Gross has lived and worked in more than 20 countries, including UK, Singapore, and locations in the Middle East. Other roles included CEO of AMERICAN EXPRESS/AMERIPRISE BANK, FSB, which provides mortgage, banking, credit card and trust services to private wealth clients, Amex Cardmembers and others in the United States. He was Head of Global Strategy & Corporate Development for the International Financial Services Segment of American Express Company, as well as Head of Strategy, Corporate & Investment Bank, Americas at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to joining Bentley in 2022, Mr. Gross was a Managing Director at WESTWOOD CAPITAL. He has served on the Boards of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, Ameriprise Bank FSB, American Express Bank Brazil and the Association for Corporate Growth. He holds an MBA from NEW YORK UNIVERSITY’S STERN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS and a B.A. from RUTGERS COLLEGE.
