Doug Stebbins has over two decades of investment banking experience in Tokyo and New York across a wide range of industry verticals. Prior to joining Bentley in 2015 he was the Head of Alternative Investment Private Placements at the New York office of MIZUHO SECURITIES, where he cultivated relationships with institutional investors and represented a number of leading fund groups in the Private Equity, Venture Capital and Hedge Fund industries. Before joining Mizuho in 2005, he worked in the financial industry in Tokyo for 14 years. He spent the early part of his career in investment banking at Société Générale, Bear Stearns and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, working with both Japanese and multinational clients to access global pools of capital. Over the course of his career he has completed hundreds of transactions totaling many billions of dollars of value. At Bentley, he primarily focuses on private placement activity targeted at U.S. AND GLOBAL INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS. Focus areas include Fund Placement, Venture Capital, Corporate Finance and FinTech. With over 25 years of Japan experience, Mr. Stebbins in fluent in written and spoken Japanese. He earned his B.A. From the UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN and is a CFA charter holder.
