As a Managing Director at Benchmark International, Mr. Smoot has originated more than 100 deals at Benchmark International and now heads a team that originates each US transaction. His primary role is to direct the different aspects of origination so that we can identify the most attractive businesses, and properly educate business owners on the M&A process and market conditions. Throughout this process, it is important that we serve potential clients to Benchmark standards and instill confidence in anyone considering hiring us to represent them for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
