Mr. Hulme is North West born and bred, has a degree in accounting and finance, and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In 1988, he moved into the world of corporate finance. Now head of our Manchester Transactions Teams, he has been inspirational in the development of the Benchmark brand in the UK and worldwide. Nick instills a professional approach across the business. He prides himself on the success of the people he has recruited and trained, and would pit them against the best in the industry. He believes success requires a balance between hard work and creative thinking. His satisfaction comes from seeing his teams grasp this to ensure their own success through deal completions and great client feedback. Before joining Benchmark International, Nick was a national corporate finance partner with a top-five international firm of accountants, and ran a successful award-winning corporate finance boutique firm that advised on acquisitions, disposals, funding, restructuring, and more. Benchmark International was looking for a strong personality to join the UK Board and influence the development of the business and brand, and Nick joined the team and has never looked back. He personally handles several major transactions each year and has been involved in hundreds of deals, ensuring that each is handled with the commitment that each client deserves. He also supports central business development and other central functions.
