Antonio Bravo combines the role of Global Head of Strategy, Industries and Cross-border at BBVA CIB and Global Head of Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero at BBVA. On the one hand, he is responsible for defining the strategy and transformation of the BBVA CIB division, as well as the dynamization of the cross-border business and the sectoral coverage of corporations in the Consumer, Energy, Industry, Infrastructure and Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industries, together with the admission policies and management governance. On the other hand, he is responsible for defining the sustainability strategy of BBVA, establishing and communicating the progress of ESG goals and promoting knowledge and the generation of new sustainable business. Antonio began his career in 2009 as a consultant specializing in TMT and joined BBVA in 2011 to form part of its transformation strategy. Since then, and until reaching his current responsibilities, he has been member of the Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions team of the entity; he has been responsible for Business Development in South America; for implementing the Agile methodology throughout the organization; and he has also been responsible for IT Strategy and Control within the entity.
