Lawrence Askowitz has over 20 years of capital markets and mergers and acquisitions experience in the telecommunications industry, including years of his career invested at Lazard, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. During the course of his career, Mr. Askowitz has originated, structured and executed more than $200 billion of financial and strategic transactions for many of the leading companies in the telecom, media and technology (TMT) sector. Prior to joining Bank Street, Mr. Askowitz served as Managing Partner of Gabriel Advisors, an investment firm which advises and acquires communication and media technology companies, and as a Managing Director at Kidron Capital Advisors. In addition, prior to founding Gabriel Advisors in April 2005, Mr. Askowitz was the telecom and media technology partner at ZelnickMedia Corporation. Mr. Askowitz has extensive board of directors experience in the telecommunications industry, including 180 Connect, Horizon PCS and Lumos Networks. Mr. Askowitz received a B.S. in Operations Research from the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science, and a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Yeshiva University.
