Shawn is a principal with Baker Tilly and the firm’s distribution, transportation and logistics industry leader. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Shawn served as a senior manager at a Big Four firm. During his time with the firm, Shawn was a chief auditor and managed audit consultations for the entire New York metro region. As part of his chief auditor role, Shawn was also responsible for executing internal inspections, both formal and informal, and facilitating various annual accounting and auditing update trainings for all the managers and partners in the New York metro region. As part of his chief auditor responsibilities, Shawn advised on audit approach for a number of companies. Working in the firm's manufacturing and distribution practice, Shawn became closely involved with his clients’ business operations. Over time his clients have come to rely on his practical business guidance and assistance in meeting their objectives and consider him a Value Architect™.
