As Baker Tilly’s chief of staff and advisor to the CEO, Shanté George is responsible for helping drive organizational transformation, advancing enterprise initiatives and working closely with the senior leadership team on strategy execution. Shanté is also the chair of the environmental, social and governance (ESG) steering committee. In this position, she will further enhance the overall ESG strategy and formalize the firm’s internal approach to sustainability. Previously, Shanté was a principal in Baker Tilly’s restructuring and complex litigation services practice. She joined Baker Tilly in 2016 and has 20 years of experience advising constituents in the areas of financial and operational restructuring, forensic investigations and transactional due diligence. Her experience includes leading teams in the development and implementation of strategy, assessing strategic and financial feasibility and developing business plans and comprehensive financial models for sustainable growth. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Shanté was a senior vice president in the corporate recovery and litigation services practice in an independent, employee-owned financial services firm in New York.
