Matthew Glazier is a principal with Baker Tilly’s assurance practice. Responsible for leading the growth of Baker Tilly’s manufacturing and distribution practice in New England, Matt has more than 15 years of public accounting experience. He works closely with high-growth manufacturing companies as well as those in the technology, construction and not-for-profit industries to help them meet their increasing assurance demands and strategic goals. Experienced in working with both public and private entities, Matt focuses on creating a well-planned, proactive approach to the audit right from the start to streamline the process for the firm’s clients. His deep technical experience and strong rapport with clients has made him an invaluable partner on a wide array of complex issues including software revenue recognition, stock compensation, debt, equity transactions and more. Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked for a Boston area accounting firm where he managed audit and review engagements of various sizes and complexities as well as performed tax services for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships and not-for-profit organizations.
