Matt Spinek is a principal in the audit practice and has more than 13 years of public accounting experience. Matt specializes in providing assurance services for software and technology companies from early stage start-ups to larger middle-market multinational companies. He regularly works with clients that are private equity sponsored, venture-backed or has institutional investors. Matt has extensive experience advising clients on complex accounting matters including revenue recognition, software capitalization, business combinations and complex debt and equity structures. While his primary focus is in the technology industry, Matt has substantial experience serving companies across a variety of other industries, including manufacturing and distribution, homebuilders, consumer products, professional services and other commercial service companies.
