Brian Simpson is a tax principal and corporate income tax practice leader. Brian currently leads the corporate income tax practice of Baker Tilly’s Dallas office. He also leads the firms accounting for income tax practice. His areas of responsibility include accounting for income taxes (ASC 740), tax issues related to accounting for share based payments (FAS 123R), corporate tax compliance and planning, accounting period and methods issues, and audit representation in income tax audits. He also has extensive experience assisting clients in structuring and planning transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
