Emily is a principal in Baker Tilly's risk advisory practice. She is a business-oriented systems consultant with experience in financial services. Known for her outstanding organizational skills, Emily combines a thorough knowledge specialization in the financial services industry, including loan servicing, insurance, banking and asset management organizations. Services she provides include financial and IT auditing, risk management, cloud environments analysis, business process improvement, internal audit and control compliance as required under the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002, system organization controls reports (SOC) and HITRUST. Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Emily worked in the assurance financial services practice of PwC in Chicago, Illinois. Emily gained experience leading and performing cross-functional audits for both public and nonpublic companies.
