Dora is a director with Baker Tilly’s middle market advisory services practice focusing on valuation services. She has valuation experience related to business combinations, restructuring and reorganizations, financing, gift and estate tax planning, litigation support, transfer pricing, and financial reporting and tax compliance. Dora also has comprehensive experience in financial reporting and analysis, transaction due diligence, financial modeling, forecast and budgeting, and advisory services. Dora’s primary disciplines include the valuation of business enterprises, a variety of intangible assets and derivatives utilizing Monte Carlo simulations, binomial lattice models and option pricing models. Her expertise, experience and background provide her with unique skills to deal with complex valuation issues. Her primary industry focus includes privately held companies in healthcare services, manufacturing, retail, consulting and SAAS industries. Dora is experienced with the valuations and accounting treatments related to complex issues such as accounting for business combinations (ASC 805), accounting for goodwill and intangible (ASC 350), Fair Value Measurements (ASC 820), accounting for share-based payment (ASC 718), and various other complex security instruments, such as convertible debt with beneficial conversion features, detachable warrants, preferred stock with a put option, market condition and performance condition related options.
