Steven Goldberg is a Managing Director and Head of Baird's Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining Baird in 2011, Steve was Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking at FBR Capital Markets. He has also held senior banking positions with FBR Capital Markets, Lehman Brothers and CIBC World Markets. With more than 30 years of investment banking experience, Steve has overseen a variety of transactions including initial public offerings, 144A private placements, perpetual preferred offerings, corporate bond and convert offerings, M&A advisories, asset-level joint ventures, private placements and general financial advisory. During his career, Steve has advised on more than $20 billion of total transaction volume. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Connecticut.
