Steve Guy Bio

Steve Guy is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Industrial Investment Banking Group. Based in Milwaukee, Steve leads Baird’s Water & Filtration practice. Prior to joining Baird in 2000, Steve was a Vice President at Tucker Anthony (now CIBC Cleary Gull) and a Senior Consultant at Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers), where he provided corporate tax and other advisory services. Throughout his career, Steve has advised on a variety of M&A and financing transactions for public, private equity and family-owned businesses serving many sectors of the global economy. Specific to his Baird coverage, Steve has completed more than 50 transactions totaling more than $14 billion in the filtration industry. Steve received a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the University of Virginia and an MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan Business School. Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors of Deltrol Corporation (since 2016) and The Water Council (since 2023). He previously served on the Board of Trustees of University School of Milwaukee (2013-2023), including as board Chairman (2019-2022).
