Pat Guerin is Co-Head of Baird Global M&A and a member of Baird’s Global Investment Baking Management Committee. Based in London, Pat joined Baird in 2023 and brings over 30 years of investment banking experience spanning Europe, the U.S. and Asia. He has held a variety of leadership roles in M&A over the years, including Head of TMT M&A for EMEA at Barclays, U.S. Head of M&A at Jefferies, Global Head of Sales & Divestitures at Citi, and Joint Head of EMEA M&A at UBS. Pat has overseen hundreds of transactions, including dozens with multi-billion dollar transaction values. He was a pioneer in building and developing sellside specialist teams within bulge bracket banks in Europe and has authored numerous publications on topics related to M&A deal strategy and tactics. He is a frequent guest speaker at private equity forums. Pat graduated from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in Canada.
