John Song Bio

John Song is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Investment Banking Group and Co-Head of the Baird Defense & Government Investment Banking practice. John joined Baird in 2018 from Houlihan Lokey, where he was a leader in their Aerospace, Defense & Government (ADG) Group. John's primary focus is advising leading government and defense technology companies in the areas of M&A and capital raising strategies. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, John was a Management Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton and spent several years working in structured finance at firms such as Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust. John holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Boston University.
