John Lanza Bio

John Lanza is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Technology & Services Investment Banking Group. He focuses on Industrial Services within the Facility, Industrial, Residential & Environmental (FIRE) Services practice. John has extensive experience in executing M&A and capital raising transactions. Prior to joining Baird in 2000, John worked as an auditor at Deloitte where he ultimately reached the level of manager. Once he joined Baird, John spent his first year in Baird’s Global Investment Banking Group and then worked as an Analyst in the Equity Research Department. He rejoined investment banking in 2003, at which time he founded the Industrial Services practice to capitalize on the growing interest in construction, engineering, infrastructure and environmental services industries. John maintains an active dialogue with a broad group of services firms and is the primary relationship banker for the Industrial Services coverage universe. John received an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland – College Park, where he was an honors student.
