Alex Ballantine is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Industrial Investment Banking Group. Based in London, Alex focuses on the Industrial and Healthcare sectors, specifically, Packaging & Containers, Specialty Materials & Chemicals, Pharmaceutical Services, Safety & Security and Building & Infrastructure. Prior to joining Baird in 2013, Alex worked at Hawkpoint Limited and ING Bank in London. Alex is a dual United States and British national who has spent his entire professional career in investment banking in London. Alex has worked on a diverse range of transactions, spanning public and private M&A, equity capital markets and other strategic advisory assignments for both private equity and corporate clients. Alex received a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. Alex has a Certificate in Corporate Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accounting of England and Wales.
