Bio

Stephen Scott joined Bailey & Company in 2016 and serves as Partner and Managing Director. He leads the firm’s sector expertise in healthcare services. His experience includes than 25 years in healthcare and over $4 billion in M&A and financing transactions. His early career was spent at HCA and PhyCor, giving him operational experience in healthcare and deep knowledge of its regulatory complexities and reimbursement challenges. Stephen spent his early investment banking career at Jefferies and Stephens Inc. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management and his Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University (OH) where he graduated summa cum laude. He also holds his Series 7, 24 and 63 securities registrations and is registered with BSC Securities, LLC, member FINRA/SIPC. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing golf, and cooking.
