Phillip Knotts joined Bailey & Company in 2022 and serves as a Managing Director. He brings more than 16 years of experience executing both sell-side and buy-side transactions, helping clients achieve liquidity and identify the right partners for growth. He specializes in working with healthcare providers and outsourced services businesses, focusing on home health and post-acute providers, dental groups, and center-based and retail healthcare. Phillip leverages his in-depth knowledge of operating and consolidation dynamics, provider-based business models, reimbursement and regulatory complexities, and network of strategic buyer and private equity investor relationships to help his clients achieve their desired transaction goals. Through his highly collaborative and consultative approach, Phillip provides strategic advice, expertise, and insight based on ongoing sector developments, often starting well in advance of a transaction. Prior to joining Bailey, Phillip was a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Lincoln International. He began his career as an Investment Banker with BB&T Capital Markets. Phillip earned an MBA with honors from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University. He also holds his Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations and is registered with BSC Securities, LLC, member FINRA/SIPC. He enjoys spending time with his four children and two Sheepadoodles and is an avid CrossFitter.
