David Kaufman joined Bailey & Company in September 2024, bringing a strong background in healthcare M&A, capital markets advisory, principal investing, and clinical research. Prior to joining Bailey, David was an Investment Banker at Imperial Capital, focusing on middle-market M&A and structured capital transactions across Healthcare and Business Services. He previously served as a Senior Associate at Synergy Advisors, where he originated and executed transactions in multiple healthcare sectors. David began his career as an Investment Banker in Raymond James’ Healthcare Investment Banking group, advising healthcare and life sciences companies on M&A and financing. Earlier, he contributed to clinical research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center through capital-raising efforts supported by the Department of Defense and the National Institutes of Health. He also held regulatory roles at USC’s Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. David holds an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business, an MS in Global Medicine from USC’s Keck School of Medicine, and a BA in Biology from UC Santa Barbara. He has SIE, Series 63, and 79 securities registrations.
