Bio

Nicola is a director based in the London restructuring and insolvency team. She specialises in advising directors, lenders and other stakeholders in situations involving financial distress. Nicola has over 20 years’ experience and, prior to joining Azets, she worked in BDO’s complex restructuring team. During this time she was engaged to provide restructuring solutions including refinancing, accelerated merger & acquisitions, independent business reviews, contingency planning and formal insolvency appointments. Nicola has worked in a wide variety of sectors but has some significant experience in real estate finance, hotels, education, hospitality and leisure, manufacturing and retail. Nicola also has extensive experience working with lenders and was previously Head of Asset Recoveries at a London based bank, where she was responsible for assisting the bank’s clients when they faced financial distress.
