Victor Mata Bio

Victor Mata is a Partner at AZ Capital. Since joining in 2004, Victor has participated in many M&A transactions, IPOs, strategic advisory and restructurings in a variety of sectors, including financial services. In recent years, Victor has led transactions in the technology sector. Prior to joining AZ Capital, Victor began his career in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley in London, where he worked in the M&A and financial institutions departments. Father of three children, Victor is an early adopter of technology, with a passion for science fiction stories and a seasoned long-distance runner. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña, as well as a Master of Sciences in Management from HEC Business School, Paris.
