Jorge Lucaya Bio

Jorge holds a bachelor of arts in Geography and History from the University of Navarra, Spain. He is also a graduate of the Institute of Economics at the University of Colorado, USA, and holds an MBA from IESE, Spain. Jorge started his professional career in 1985 at The Chase Manhattan Bank, where he held different positions in Barcelona, London, El Cairo and Madrid. He has also been co-head of Morgan Stanley's investment banking business in Spain, being appointed General Manager of the Madrid office and Managing Partner in 1997. In 2004, Jorge founded AZ Capital and has been a founding partner and chief executive officer ever since. In this capacity, Jorge has sourced and executed a wide range of complex, transformational and value-creating transactions for the firm’s clients.
