As CEO, Gaurav spearheads Avendus Group and is focused on building and scaling the franchise. He co-founded Avendus in 1999 at the age of 25 and has spent the last two and a half decades harnessing the potential of India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He has been instrumental in building Avendus Capital into India’s #1 investment bank and is deeply passionate about the value creation potential of digital and tech innovation. Gaurav holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
