Tim Kao Bio

Tim Kao is a Managing Director at Atlas Advisors, where he supports the firm’s efforts in the consumer, healthcare, and industrial sectors, with a special focus on Asia Pacific transactions. Prior to joining Atlas Advisors, Mr. Kao worked at J.P. Morgan, spending seven years at the firm’s New York and Tokyo offices. While at J.P. Morgan, he executed transactions across diverse product areas, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt, and across multiple geographies, including Japan, China, emerging Asian markets, Europe and the United States. His clients included Heinz, Ajinomoto, Bosch Automotive Systems, Tingyi, Coty, Boston Scientific, Suros Surgical Systems, AMN Healthcare Services and Endo Pharmaceuticals, among others. Mr. Kao holds a M.S. and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and a B.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science.
