Barry Rieger, CPA, is an accomplished transaction advisory professional with nearly 20 years of professional experience across a wide variety of middle market industries, including government contracting, technology, financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare. Barry specializes in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for complex M&A initiatives. He has extensive experience in managing all facets of financial diligence, including quality of earnings and EBITDA validation, quality of assets, management team interviews, financial modeling, and more. With a strong focus on project management, Barry’s professional background encompasses nearly every phase of the acquisition process. As a highly analytical thinker, he excels at understanding the key drivers of a business, spotting opportunities for cost-saving or profit improvement initiatives, and providing a credible, transparent, and objective view into a company’s business model. Barry takes pride in establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with his clients and colleagues. He enjoys working with these parties to strategize and solve sensitive complex problems. Prior to joining Aronson, Barry was the director of FP&A at a healthcare technology government contractor. Prior to that, he was a leader in the transaction services practice of an international consulting firm and held other M&A and restructuring related roles, including at a global accounting firm and a private equity firm. His varied professional experience provides him a unique perspective into the M&A life cycle and the challenges facing both buyers and sellers.
