Dr. Jonathan Reis is a biotech and life sciences industry specialist with over 25 years of executive management experience. In addition to serving as a Managing Director with Armory’s investment banking team, Dr. Reis is also the Managing Partner of Extera Partners, a leading life sciences corporate development advisory firm, President & CEO of Censa Pharmaceuticals an orphan drug development company, a Board member of Atacama Therapeutics and Janus Biotherapeutics and a co-founder of Acer Therapeutics. Prior to Extera and Armory, Dr. Reis founded several medical device start-up companies and was involved in venture capital investment activities. He was also head of the out-of-hospital complex patient care division of Coordinated Care Solutions, a $100M revenue business servicing private and government payers. Earlier in his career, he co-led IBM’s healthcare business in Israel. Dr. Reis earned his MD from the Technion Institute of Technology and his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He has also practiced emergency medicine and has been published in leading medical journals.
