Bio

David founded Arena Capital Advisors, LLC in 2004. He has represented privately held business owners in a variety of industries, including biotechnology, business services, contracting, distribution, environmental services, food services, IT services, manufacturing, medical devices, staffing services, software, and telecommunications. David’s prior experience includes ten years of Chief Executive Officer and/or Chief Financial Officer of several privately held companies, following eight years as a Certified Public Accountant with Arthur Andersen LLP. Immediately prior to forming Arena Capital Advisors, he was an investment banker with Live Oak Capital Advisors, Inc. David attended Duke University and graduated from the University of South Carolina where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He also completed the executive program in Mergers & Acquisitions at the Wharton School of Business. He has serverd on the boards of directors of a half-dozen privately held companies, and held board leadership roles in numerous tax-exempt organizations.
