Michael has been a senior executive at large institutions such as E*TRADE and TD Bank. Additionally, he has been regional CEO of several capital market and wealth management firms, from start up to mature businesses. At various points in his career, Michael has overseen the key divisions of Sales, Product, Advice, Service, Operations and Trading. His career has taken him to live in major cities across the US and UK where he oversaw business lines in regional headquarters across the globe. While focused on the operating side, Michael has always been actively involved in corporate development. At both E*TRADE and TD Bank subsidiaries, he was the business lead for M&A and strategic investing activities. Furthermore, he was on the board of E*TRADE Asset Management and a leader of E*TRADE’s Venture Capital fund. Over his career, Michael has been involved in over a hundred due diligence processes and over 20 successful M&A transactions. These have ranged in value from $10 million to $1.75 billion. Michael has also been involved in over 35 capital raise transactions of public and private entities of all sizes. The largest was leading E*TRADE’s co-manager role of Google’s initial public offering.
