Phil joined Aquilo Partners in January 2012. He began his career in healthcare investment banking at Jefferies and then at Montgomery & Co., serving growth stage companies in the biotech, pharma, medical device and services sectors. Phil has worked on a range of transactions throughout his career, including financings for public and venture-backed companies, as well as M&A and strategic partnering advisory. Phil’s previous clients include Accuray, Covenant Care, Dental One, Onconova, Orthopaedic Synergy, Nuvelo, Power Medical Interventions, and Praxim. His focus on healthcare began during an analytical chemistry internship in the Controlled Release Technology division of Medtronic’s Drug Eluting Stent program. Phil has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford.
