Mike Bungert serves as the Chairman of Aon Benfield, with a focus on the Americas and supports Aon Benfield CEO Eric Andersen and the Aon Benfield Americas team. Bungert previously served as co-Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Executive Officer – Americas, of Aon Benfield, the global reinsurance intermediary and capital advisor of Aon plc. Mike and co-CEO Dominic Christian were responsible for developing and executing strategies for Aon's global reinsurance brokerage operations. Before joining Aon, Mike spent five years at Thomas A. Greene Inc., where he led the firm’s Chicago office and served as a member of the firm’s board of directors. Bungert started his career with Continental Casualty Company in the reinsurance division and spent time underwriting the North American and Property & Casualty treaty account in London for CNA Re.
