Mr. de Movellan is a Managing Director at Angle Advisors with over 35 years of international experience in investment banking and corporate leadership. Prior roles include executive leadership, corporate finance, operations, and supplier and business development in aerospace & defense, financial services, real estate, and retail sporting goods manufacturing and distribution. This combination of transactional and hands-on business experience contributes to effectively guiding and coaching both experienced and new-to-transactions management teams. Mr. de Movellan leads domestic and international transactions, corporate carve-outs and private company sales. Mr. de Movellan’s background includes notable transactions in aerospace/defense/space components and tooling, aviation airframe and component MRO, automotive plastics and metals, automation, electronics manufacturing services, and testing/inspection/certification/compliance (TICC). ​Prior to joining Angle Advisors, Mr. de Movellan held positions with Goodrich Aerospace (now RTX), Prudential, GreenPath, and King Par. Notable customers include Airbus, American Airlines, Ashland Oil, Bank of America, Boeing, British Aerospace, Costco, Delta Air Lines, Lexmark, United Airlines, and Walmart. ​Mr. de Movellan holds a B.A. degree from Washington & Lee University and has completed further accounting and finance coursework at both the University of Michigan and the University of Kentucky. He is trained as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds his license as a private pilot. Mr. de Movellan is fluent in English, Spanish, and French and conversant in Italian, Portuguese, and German.
