Jason brings together a unique combination of industry experience and financial expertise to his role as Managing Partner & Founder of Anchor Peabody. A building industry veteran, Jason’s experience includes co-founding multiple companies, including Building Industry Partners, a Dallas/Ft.Worth-based building industry-focused private equity firm, as well as US LBM Holdings, a $2 billion company consolidator of lumberyards and other building products operations with 3,900 associates located in 22 states with 160 locations, sold to New York-based private equity firm Kelso & Company August 2015. Jason additionally served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for two lumber & building products pro dealer operations in the Northeast and Southwest. His expertise includes sourcing, negotiating, and refining and executing investment approaches, and his operational expertise includes core competencies across building products distribution, kitchen & bath design, home centers/retail, and light manufacturing in fields such as millwork and structural components. Jason has a B.S. in Economics from Rutgers University and an MBA from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.
