Mr. Tengdin joined Allison-Williams in 1999 and is primarily involved in the trading of private placement securities, having traded issues as small as $10M to well over $100MM. Prior to joining Allison-Williams he was involved in origination and trading of private placement, public, and government securities for nearly twenty years with several other investment banking firms. Immediately prior to joining the firm he co-founded a start-up technology and promotions company. Mr. Tengdin served on the Board of Directors of Buck Hill Inc. for twenty three years and helped negotiate the sale of the ski area in 2016. He earned his BA degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado in 1981, and attended an executive graduate program at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN in 2007. Mr. Tengdin is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a former professional downhill alpine skier and is still active with the US Ski Association as a senior competitor, coach and alpine official. He is also currently active with the local Boy Scout Council, and has been awarded the BSA Silver Beaver Award in addition to many other awards primarily for teaching youth scuba diving.
