As Director of People and Culture at Alexa Capital, Shann plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and fostering a thriving organisational culture. With over twelve years of HR and Operations experience, Shann aligns people initiatives with the company’s vision, creating a vibrant, inclusive workplace that attracts and retains top talent. Her strategic and empathetic approach enhances employee engagement, talent management, and workplace culture. Shann is passionate about creating an environment that promotes continuous learning, professional development, and employee well-being, while also overseeing operations to boost productivity through process optimization and strategic IT deployment. A key member of the leadership team, Shann drives the company forward with integrity and innovation. Shann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and is currently working towards her CIPD Associate Level 5 Diploma in People Management. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing reformer pilates, travelling, loves to cook and spending quality time with family and close friends and is an avid MUFC supporter. Shann is an English native speaker and is fluent in both northern and southern dialects of the Kurdish language.
