Mr. Pfeffer joined Aleutian in 2010. He led the financing of an expansion plan for Global Sugar Art LLC, an internet commerce firm. Daniel has an extensive track record of building and exiting specialty online retailers to both private equity sponsors and strategic investors. He has held multiple senior level positions at top 100 internet retailers in a variety of categories. Daniel is also the Managing Partner of the private equity fund Mercent Capital Group. Previous experience includes serving as the CEO of Lighting by Gregory (New York City's largest residential lighting retailer) and roles as a senior manager at Rakuten's affiliate solution provider Linkshare Corporation. Daniel holds an MBA and BA from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is an avid skier and tennis player and is a member of the New York City YPO organization. Daniel is also a board member of the MaxCure Foundation for Pediatric Cancer as we all as the chairman of the Spreading Smiles for Saige Foundation.
