Ignasi has more than 25 years of banking experience, having worked at Banco Santander since 1996, where he held different management positions in Barcelona and Madrid leading business and risk teams. Before joining Alantra, he was responsible for Banco Santander’s Corporate & Investment Banking business in Catalonia for seven years. Ignasi has extensive knowledge of the Catalan market, having advised on numerous transactions in the region, including corporate structured finance, real estate, LBOs, project finance both in financing and coordination and advisory roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree (Licenciatura) and MBA from ESADE Barcelona.
