Hernán Sambucetti Bio

Hernán Sambucetti is a partner at Landmark Alantra Group and the Country Head for Argentina. Prior to Landmark, he was a principal at IB Partners and a Vice President at UBS Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Sambucetti has extensive experience in corporate finance, advising in various transactions in Latin America, including the purchase of Aseguradora Hidalgo, Mexico’s largest life insurer, by MetLife; the acquisition of Banco Conosur on behalf of Bci; the sale of Banco Granahorrar in Colombia to BBVA; the sale of Consolidar Salud (BBVA) to Grupo Omint in Argentina; the sale of Argentine agribusiness company Fondomonte to the Saudi group Almarai; and the sale of Argentine animal health company Biotay to Phibro Animal Health Corporation (NASDAQ:PAHC). He holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from ITBA and an MBA from the Stern School of Business (NYU).
