Giuseppe Marsella’s career has focused on equity research for 20 years. Before joining Alantra, Giuseppe spent 13 years in Exane BNP Paribas, leading pan-European equity research house. He was Head of the Italian Midcap research team, part of the European MidCap team, which achieved top position in Extel Survey between 2013 and 2018. Giuseppe was #1 European MidCap analyst in 2018 Extel Survey and was ranked many times within the top 3 analysts in Italian country research. Before joining Exane BNP Paribas, Giuseppe was equity research analyst at Mediobanca for 5 years. He started his career in 1999 as investment banking analyst at Schroders (Citi). Mr. Marsella is an Italian Mid Cap specialist. He has developed expertise in many sectors with focus on consumer, luxury, infrastructures, media and industrials. Giuseppe took part to many IPO deals during his career on the Italian market. His professional education includes a degree cum laude in business management at Università Commerciale Bocconi. Giuseppe granted a sponsorship for all the study period, during which he was visiting student at Lancaster University (UK) and summer intern in the investment banking division at Schroders (London).
