Evan Myrianthopoulos Bio

Evan Myrianthopoulos is Senior Managing Director of investment banking at A.G.P. and co-leads the firm’s life science practice. Evan’s career spans almost 30 years in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, and the biotech industry. He has been Director, and C-level executive of several public and private biotech and medical device companies. Evan was also Founder, COO, CFO and Board Director of Discovery Laboratories, Inc., a biotech company he took public and which successfully developed pediatric orphan drugs licensed from Johnson & Johnson. He is known for his strength in identifying, financing, developing, managing and publicly exiting emerging biotechnology and other growth oriented investments. During his time on corporate side of the biotech industry, Evan led financings of all types totaling over $500 million in proceeds, four company acquisitions, and 13 licensing deals. Prior to A.G.P., Evan was Managing Partner and head of Debt Strategies at Highline Management, a private equity firm with $1.8 billion under management. He led origination, diligence, negotiation and management of a highly successful $250 million portfolio of venture debt loans. Mr. Myrianthopoulos holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Emory University.
